2006 Monaco Windsor

My 2006 Monaco Windsor 40 PDQ is more than just a motorhome — it has been my home, my classroom, and the foundation for everything I am building next.

I have owned this diesel pusher for around 6 years and have lived in it full-time for a total of about 4 years. Monaco built an amazing motorhome with real wood cabinets, a ride and drive that most people could not imagine, and a level of quality that was years ahead of much of the competition. Trust me, I know — I have owned a majority of the major RV brands, and this coach stands apart.

This is my current life. It has taught me the do’s and don’ts, the wants and needs, and what is truly required — and not required — for my future box truck build. The Windsor has shown me what works in full-time living, what becomes unnecessary, and what I want to improve as I design something more purpose-built for the way I actually live.
